Reliable and efficient, MAPL machines automatically tip, cut, wind and band paired shoelaces.
An electronic controller (PLC) runs the cycle: once the lace type is set up, just enter the number of hanks and winding turns. The machine cuts the cords to length, applies the tip, then winds and bands each pair.
- Cords cut to length
- Celluloid tips formed with a heated die and acetone
- Winding into hanks
- Banding with heat-sealing paper or polypropylene
All movements are driven by a motor and pneumatic cylinders controlled by solenoid valves. The die is interchangeable according to the tip diameter (values in the boxes above).
